Welcome to Psalm 127

Welcome to Psalm 127 School! We are a Christ-centered learning community dedicated to providing high-quality education rooted in Biblical truth. Our school is built by families who recognize the challenges present in secular education and desire a safe, God-honoring environment for their children. With intentional care, we have created a place where students are protected, nurtured, and guided toward Christlike maturity.

We believe education is holistic—shaping the mind, character, family life, and most importantly, a personal relationship with Jesus. Our dynamic, student-focused environment supports each learner’s academic growth and spiritual development.

What sets us apart is our strong biblical foundation, our discipleship program, our weekly chapel services, and our supportive community of families united in faith and purpose.

Join us, and together we will pursue God’s plan for the next generation.

Our Mission

Psalm 127 School nurtures a Christian worldview in students through a classical liberal arts education firmly rooted in biblical truth.

Our Vision

Our vision at Psalm 127 School is to graduate individuals of strong character, equipped to make God-honoring, wise decisions throughout life.

Educational Philosophy

At Psalm 127 School, we believe that education is a God-given calling that nurtures the child's mind, body, and spirit. Our philosophy is rooted in the conviction that students flourish when they are challenged academically, grounded in biblical truth, supported emotionally, growing spiritually, and strengthened by a harmonious family-community partnership.

Classical Liberal Arts Approach

Our school follows a Classical Liberal Arts approach, combining the time-tested structure of classical education with the broad, well-rounded foundation of the liberal arts. Students learn to think clearly, communicate confidently, practice self-care, and understand the world through a biblical lens as they grow in wisdom, knowledge, and character.

Scripture shapes everything we do. Every subject, conversation, and activity is rooted in biblical truth, helping students see how God’s Word speaks into every part of life. We aim to cultivate Christlike character by weaving faith, discipleship, and spiritual growth into daily learning.

Biblical Integration

Self-Care & Personal Well-Being

We value the emotional and mental well-being of every student. By teaching healthy habits, community structures, and personal responsibility, we help children understand how to care for themselves as individuals made in the image of God. Our goal is to develop students who are financially savvy, healthy, confident, and spiritually grounded.

Family Involvement

We believe parents are central to a child’s education. Psalm 127 School partners closely with families, fostering open communication, shared values, and consistent support. Together, we work to create a nurturing environment that strengthens home, church, and school life.

Respect & Appreciation

We teach students to honor one another as God’s creation. Respect, kindness, and gratitude are core values that shape our school culture. Students learn to appreciate Western values, treat others with dignity, and build healthy relationships that reflect Christ’s love.

Statement of Faith:

  1. The Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21, Psalm 19: 7, 1 Thessalonians 2:13).

  2. There is only one God, eternally existent in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

  3. We believe in the deity of Christ, His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14), His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15), His miracles (John 2:11), His atoning death (Romans 5:8), His resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3-4), His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Ephesians 1:20), and His future return in power and glory (Acts 1:11).

  4. We believe in the necessity of salvation because of the sinfulness of human nature (Romans 3:23), and that humans are justified by faith alone in Jesus Christ offered to us by God’s grace (Ephesians 2:8-9).

  5. There will be a resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of life, and the lost unto the resurrection of condemnation (John 5:28-29).

  6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers as the body of Jesus (1 Corinthians 12:12-13).

  7. We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells in the hearts of Christians enabling them to live a godly life (Galatians 5:22-23).

  8. We believe that the term marriage has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scriptures (Genesis 2:24). We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other (1 Corinthians 7:2). We believe that God’s command is that there be no sexual intimacy outside of or apart from marriage between a man and a woman (Hebrews 13:4).

  9. God created each person as either male or female in conformity with their biological sex (Genesis 1:27). These two distinct yet complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God.

  10. We believe that life starts at conception (Psalm 139:13-16) and that every life is worth protecting because it resembles the image of God. Therefore, no one has the right to unjustly disrupt or unjustly end the life process at any stage of human development (Exodus 20:13).

*Please note that our Statement of Faith is not exhaustive of all of our beliefs, but it reflects our core convictions as an organization.

Our Roots and Destiny

Psalm 127 School was founded in 2024 in response to a growing need for genuine Christ-centered education; one that does more than carry a Christian label, but truly helps students deepen their relationship with Jesus. We recognized that many children today are shaped by secular influences that do not honor God. Yet every child is made in the image of God, and their education should reflect that truth.

Guided by the biblical principle to “render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s, and unto God what is God’s" (Matthew 22:21), we believe that children belong to God, not the state or any other institution. Parents are the primary stewards of their child’s education, and our school exists to support families, not replace them.

Psalm 127 School began with a small enrollment but a big idea: to make Christian education accessible, provide a safe environment for learning, and pursue true academic excellence grounded in biblical truth. As we grow, our vision includes expanding grade levels, adding more highly qualified Christian teachers, and eventually establishing brick-and-mortar campuses while continuing to offer a high-quality virtual option.

Currently, we are actively pursuing accreditation with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) to ensure our programs meet rigorous academic and spiritual standards. We will provide updates to the public as we progress along the accreditation journey. Our goal remains the same: to disciple children, strengthen families, and glorify God.

Meet the Founder

Welcome! I’m Dr. Jarrin, and I’m thrilled to share the vision of Psalm 127 School with you. Our school exists to disciple children, strengthen families, and glorify God. I invite you to connect with us, explore enrollment, or schedule a meeting to learn more about how we can partner with you in your child’s academic and spiritual growth.

Welcome!

I have been passionately involved in education for over 12 years and hold an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership. I am a proud Navy and Army veteran, and I serve as the pastor of El Calvario Church in San Antonio. I am also a husband of the greatest women in the world, and father of five. I am deeply committed to raising the next generation in the knowledge and fear of the Lord.

Education is, to me, the greatest battlefield of spiritual warfare. We need faithful soldiers who are willing to obey God’s commands: protect our children, love our neighbors, and ensure that the next generation of Christian leaders is nurtured and equipped. At Psalm 127 School, my heart for discipleship and academic excellence guides everything we do, from curriculum design to daily instruction.

God bless you.
